by a dark mysterious vampire lover and pulled into a dark world of
carnal desires, and lesbianism.

Allen, Alyssa Milano
Directors: Anne Goursaud
Alyssa Milano stared in the film Embrace the Vampire released in 1995, which was made famous by Alyssa Milano’s frequent nude scenes during the film. The film was rated an ‘R’ by the MPAA for its strong sexuality, language and for the violence that can be seen in the film. North America has an issue of the film that is more graphic but has not been rated.
Milano was criticized for her role as an opportunity to shed her image as a ‘good girl’ with the many nude scenes whereas other viewers rushed out to see the film because of its content.
The plot of the film sees Charlotte who is a chaste good girl, but experiences some very heavy bad dreams about sex, which is where the viewers can see Milano who plays Charlotte in the many aforementioned nude scenes of the film.
Charlottes dreams are the one place where her dark and very mysterious dream lover, who is a dark and handsome vampire becomes a reality to her, deep inside locked in her vivid dreams she makes love with the vampire, nudity is something that has made this film portrayed by Milano a huge hit. What Charlotte doesn’t realise is that she is the re-incarnation of a Transylvanian vampire princess, and the handsome lover vampire visiting her is the same vampire lover that once knew her, and has followed her in the chance of gaining her back to the vampire world. Only then will the vampire be able to regain his powers of eternal life if he can seduce Charlotte, which leaves him with 3 days in which to accomplish this, before her 18th birthday. We then find ourselves viewing scenes of lesbianism where the vampire arranges for lovely Sarah (Charlotte Lewis) to introduce her too.
Charlotte also has a boyfriend in the real world, and although
he is not as fascinating or as handsome as the handsome vampire (Martin
Kemp), Charlotte is given the choice to either stay in the real world
or join the vampire world, and being with her charismatic vampire
lover.
There is also a struggle, as the options open to Charlotte to join the dark vampire world arise and threaten to overthrow her life as she knows it, and finally Charlotte must face the inner battle of choosing between light and dark, and good and evil, as the entities collide with the passing of the frequent dreams Milano creates a world of a strong female protagonist facing the inner battles of a human.
Finally, Alyssa Milano, playing Charlotte brings the film to its final climax, where the violence we are used to viewing from such supernatural creatures comes to an all time high, along with the steamy romance and the romantic scenes, Charlotte gains the chance to kiss Milo, the handsome lover vampire in her dream, only to find she interrupted by Eliza, who happens to be on the lookout through the film for more male flesh to dig her nails into, Eliza is then killed by Milo, by having her head smashed against a wall, we see Milo then lick the blood from off the wall.
In the final dream, Alyssa Milano in Embrace of the Vampire brings the end to the
dreams, with the final dream of Charlotte in a tower with Milo, only
this time her mortal boyfriend is also there; Chris. Milo is seen to
push Chris away and just as Charlotte is about to be bitten, she utters
Chris’ name, but is told not to think about him. It is then the
touching scene heavily created by Alyssa Milano’s acting skills, she
tells Milo she cannot join the vampire world and puts an end to the
dreams, refusing to take the eternal life being offered. Leaving
viewers with Charlotte and Chris waking up, kissing while Milo dies
while laying in a sunbeam.
A touching performance, of love and the struggling hold of supremacy of
good vs. evil, portrayed as a protagonist Alyssa Milano would have made
a perfect vampire, adding to the charismatic acting skills already
possessed and bringing life to the roles the supernatural being
requires. With the added soft core sex scenes, the nudity of Alyssa
Milano.
