Love Never Dies

My favorite vampire movie is still Coppalla Frances Ford's version of Dracula.

I love vampire movies. There's something just stirring and seething about the image of a vampire, fully sexually charged.

Although there were a lot of buzz about the film as dusk, or in TV series such as True Blood, the movie Dracula is still the best. The stage sets, clothing, and movies are so luscious and beautiful. Watch the movie and you feel you are stepping back into Victorian times, being enchanted through some Romantic poets.

Controlling all of that age, the vampire, so intimate, milk is the ultimate in blood lust and forbidden love.
The cast of Dracula film is fantastic - Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, Winonna Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Tom Waites, Cary Thewis were all compelling and wonderful. The woman who plays Lucy, is also so beautiful.

There is a scene where Mina and Lucy flip through the Kama Sutra, and the image of innocence being seduced, that one is so amazing.
Gary Oldman's portrayal of Dracula vampire in this film draws the viewer in like you were the one being seduced by this tireless lover. There are so many fascinating moments in the film like this one.

The female vampires, those three brides of Dracula that Jonathan hold as servants, is an amazing picture.
The movie is actually an improvement on the Bram stoker’s Dracula story permanently.

Another thing I like about this movie is that the dark side of vampire is not hidden. While some movies now shy away from the evil represented by vampire, Coppolla fully embraces it. The dark side of the Dracula character is what makes the film all the more romantic.

The soundtrack is also fantastic; I can hear Annie Lennox’s Love Song for a Vampire over and over in my mind. It is utterly beautiful.

I think it's a classic vampire film underrated, and the resurrection of the vampire; I think any fan would love to revisit the movie Dracula.
