Subtitled "An essential guide to vampires and, more importantly, how to avoid them", this book details various vampire legends from around the world.

I'm a fan of Bob Curran, but trying to fit facts about different kinds of vampires from all over the world into an 80-page book wasn't the best idea. Still, it was interesting learning about less well-known types of vampires, such as the Filipino Aswang and the African Tikoloshe.

Good as an introduction to unusual vampires, but it's not much more than that. I recommend checking it out, but you'll be through with it quickly.
