Vampire Glyphs and Symbols: The Brujah Vampire Clan
The Brujah vampire clan was founded by Ilyes, a mortal embraced due to her admirable control over emotions that enables her to assess virtues of ideas without involvement of any emotions.
This capability was greatly admired and treasured by her sires and grandsires. Due to these qualities, the first of the Brujah Clans were “passionless” during the first nights.
Ilyes’ long years of banish from the sun, people of the first city, and her own childers completely atrophied what passion was left of her.
Ilyes grew merciless through the course of her experiments that she started sacrificing both the living and the damned just to justify her whims.
Finally, one of her childers, named Troile had enough of all Ilyes’ cruelty and could no longer stand by and watch. He tried to convince his sire to walk-away from her cruel ways but she was hard to convince so Troile decided to take it “fang-to-fang” with his sire.
The years of no practice in hand to hand combat made Ilyes vulnerable and fell lifeless in the hands and fangs of Troile.
Once Troile tasted the blood of his sire, he never stopped drinking and yes he did craved for more…
Cain cursed Troile for drinking the blood of his sire and for assuming her position and title in the third generation of kindreds.
Troile and his childers worked to establish his dream of a better world where kindreds and mortals can at the least coexist but this dream was a failure, just as Cain was.
Seeing same mistakes he previously committed from his childers, Troile moved away and was never seen again in the city of Carthage.
Brujah in Modern Times
The Brujah Vampire Clan in the modern days are characterized as rebels with (more often without) a cause, hot-tempered, outspoken, individualistic, and turbulent vampires.
Some ranks of the Brujah clan are considered the most violent of the Camarilla...
Their burning passion is both a gift and a curse, having that it’s also their weakness. Though fast to adopt, they easily fall to fury and they find it difficult to achieve calmness once they are in frenzy.
Shocking hairstyles, crazy piercings, tattoos and out-of-this-world clothing. They specially like clothing that makes others feel uncomfortable and they basically want to scare anyone who looks at them.
The Vampire Bloodline True Brujah claim that their founder was slain by the hands of his own childe and that all those who call themselves Brujah are descendants of the usurper.
