The Cain and Abel Vampire Story

Home » Cain and Abel

Cain was the first vampire!

Perhaps, the oldest known history of vampires is the one of the Biblical character Cain who was generally considered as the father of the "kindred kind" (other name for vampires). The world’s first murderer - Cain; son of Adam and Eve in the religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism was the first vampire...

History of Vampires: God's Eyes Watching Cain

Cain, was a farmer and his brother Abel, was a shepherd.

God was pleased with Abel’s flock offering but was disappointed with that of Cain’s which drove Cain mad and he ended up in the killing of his brother, Abel.

When God learned about it; he asked Cain where his brother was, for which Cain answered...

History of Vampires: Cain Murdering Abel

“I know not; am I my brother’s keeper?” God, enraged by Cain’s crime cursed him to become a vampire, a fugitive and a drifter on earth...

Exiled from God’s people, Cain was forced to drift on the outer edges of the earth, afraid of sunlight, craving for blood, and out of God’s sight.

Cain’s loneliness led his wandering to the Red Sea where he met Lilith, the first woman God created for his father Adam. Lilith was known as the "Mesopotamian Storm Demon". She taugh Cain lots of things, including how to use his blood to summon mystic powers and how to "anoint" someone else into becoming a vampire.

History of Vampires: LilithThis discovery of powers later led to the spread of vampirism. Though Lilith has already taught Cain how to “beget” others to become like him. Cain, at first, refused to create others like him, believing it’s wrong to curse the world with other more beings cursed by God.

But as time went by, he grew lonely and decided to turn three mortals:

These three then have anointed thirteen more humans into the vampiric realm. These (the thirteen) blood hungry, greedy, and irresponsible “grandchilder” of Cain went outrageously feeding on humans in different parts of the world.

They’ve also used humans as pawns in their sibling-rivalry disputes. Outraged by these behaviors, Cain gathered his descendants and forbade the further creation of others more like them. He then built the first city in the world; a city where vampires and mortals coexisted in peace and harmony.

But peace and harmony couldn’t last… Cain’s grandchilder quarreled over their sires desires and affections that they returned to using humans as puppets in their egoistic wars – a vampire vs. vampire phenomena. Finally, the city was destroyed… Some says that it was caused by a natural disaster but if we are to look at it from a different angle; the rage and the never ending war games of his Childer may have caused the city’s fall.

Cain vanished into wastes after the city's fall, never to be heard of from again. His second generation childer also disappeared, never to be heard of from the myths and vampire legends.

Without Cain and his second generation vampires, his thirteen grandchilder recklessly started breeding new vampires. They were later to be known as the Antediluvians, the first of the vampire clans. Their childer; created in their image and likeness inherited the gifts and curses of the Antediluvians.
