A hot wave of air swept down my throat when I thought about what was going to happen today. Ebony, he was going to happen. I was going to be Ebony's personal play thing all day. If he wanted to drag me out of class, I would have to go to make sure the vampire didn't start chowing down on one of the students. Ah, yes, the life of a demon huntress sure does rock my socks, eh?
While I was pulling on a pair of black and white Tripp pants, a knock at my door broke the needed concentration it took to make sure my boxers didn't ride up while I patrolled the school to make sure that bloodsucking leech didn't try to pull a fast one. Gritting my teeth together at the sight of a single grey combat boot covered in chains. Great. He was early.
"Whaaaaaat do you want? I'm trying to put my clothes on," the whine slipped through my blackened lips, and he put his long pale hand on the wall behind me to make sure I couldn't run off this time. Gently, his soft yet slightly calloused hand gripped my chin to pull my mouth inches from his.
His cold breath like icy peppermint blew into my face when he said, "Abby, hurry up before I drag you to school. The principal already hates you."
My heart stuttered fast. My hands shook. My eyes widened. My pulse sped. My chin tingled where he touched it. A cold sweat attempted to bead on my forehead.
"Well," I snapped, pulling my jacket over my arms, "what would it matter to you. All you have to do is brainwash him, Mr. I know Everything About Nothing."
Ebony's cold grin settled into his face then a flash of fangs caught my eyes. "Hungry." He pointed towards the lengthening cat-like tips.
"Fine. Fine. Make it quick."
Feeding Ebony was one of my guilty pleasures. I loved to have his cool hands on my neck, in my hair. The weight of him against my skin as he stood giving me the best hicky of a lifetime sent my brain into a whirlwind of bliss. No! I do not like him! Wait, wait. Am I arguing with myself? Oh, great. He's right. I really am crazy. Grrrrr.
At first, he seemed a little hesitant about biting me. His hand lingering on my collarbone enough to get a blush to rise, but he was a vampire. So, he did what all vampires should do to their women, I mean, food: bit me.
The sinking feel of his fangs dipping down beneath the skin. The draining of my blood into his mouth. The suckling noises he made. The way his hand gripped the back of my head to keep me pulled back though he knew I wasn?t going anywhere. Yes, it was amazing. I knew I would be sore. I knew I would feel weak. I knew I would be dizzy. I also knew Ebony would catch me if I tottered around. All there was had to be Ebony, and he was the only thing I knew when he was drinking the bright red-black liquid that shined against the rising moonlight.
