Have you ever been afraid of something? Like that tarantula crawling by your foot, or the large python slithering around your house. Well, in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the people there won't admit it, but they are all terrified of one thing.

Their dreams.

Lately, people are dying suddenly and rapidly, while they're dreaming. Only four best-friends know who is REALLY killing these people. Vampires.

They've roamed Rosewood since before it was called Rosewood, feeding on innocent maidens, munching on police patrol, snacking on wide-eyed bystanders. They don't give a damn about the people they hurt, the lives they take away, or the consequences with being caught.

No vampire has ever been caught, anyone who sees will be fed upon. But for Ayden, Courtney, Hanna, and Tory, and Ella well they came out alive. It was an accident but ever since they've had to live with the weight of that deadly secret on their shoulders.

But one of their own was murdered recently, Ella. She was sweet, fragile, and one of the people who knew. After her murder Ayden kept a journal to record all the important happenings, all the deadly secrets, and all the scandalous hook-ups going on in Rosewood. And if anyone finds it all of their secrets are exposed, including the most dangerous one. So, when Ayden's journal goes missing what lengths will these girls go to to keep their secret?
