Real Life Vampires

Below are real life vampires and the crimes they committed over the years for the taste or the sight of blood. I have to say that the crimes committed may not be directly blamed at vampirism or vampiric hunger as psychopathy and ignorance of true vampirism may have played an important factor for committing such crimes.

Countess Elizabeth Bathory The Blood Countess came from one of the most powerful families of Hungary; she was the daughter of George Bathory (brother of Andrew Bonaventura Bathory, who had been a governor of Transylvania) and Anna Bathory (daughter of Stephen Bathory, another ruler of Transylvania).

Vlad Dracula Vlad Dracula was a Wallachian Prince who was born in the citadel of Sighisoara, Transylvania, late 1431. He was the second son of Vlad Dracul or Vlad II, Vlad Dracul (the father) was a military governor and a member of the order of the Dragon where he got the name “Dracul” meaning “devil” or "dragon".

Daniel and Manuela Ruda In 2001 Daniel and Manuela Ruda murdered Frank Hackerts, Daniel's coworker and friend whom they invited to their apartment which was located near Bochum in the region of Ruhr, western Germany.

Rod Ferrell Rod Ferrell was a disturbed 17 year old whose emotional age, according to psychologist, was only that of a three year old. On February 12, 1998, Rod Ferrell plead guilty to killing couple Richard Wendorf and Naoma Queen of Eustis, Florida. His victims were the parents of a friend and cult member, Heather Wendorf. He was helped by his then girlfriend, Charity Lynn Keesee, and two members of his cult.
