Average student Tsukune couldn't get into any high school except one: Yokai Academy, a school for monsters. He needs to get his high school education, but if any of the monsters find out he's human, he'll be killed! At least his new friend, a vampire named Moka, wants to help protect his secret. (And drink his blood.) Unfortunately, he just seems to rub most other monsters the wrong way.

Rosario + Vampire is a manga (Japanese graphic novel) series targeted mainly to a male audience. There is an anime version, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be licensed in the U.S anytime soon. Funny, and full of interesting tidbits about all sorts of monsters, not only vampires.
