The Sabbat Vampire Sect
(of Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines)

The old Sabbat was rumored to have rooted from a Medieval Death cult and members are feared greatly by non-members.

They are monstrous and violent victims of insanity. This sect of vampires are the delinquent ones. All members strictly follow nothing but one universal rule, which is - "there isn't any rules at all!".




They have no known ethics, philosophy, or morality and at times they are referred to as The Black Hand of the Kindred world, forever trying to throw-off traditions, destroy the Camarilla, and conquer humanity.

Vampires outside the sect know very little if at all about it. A number of Camarilla vampires even doubt that such a group of vampires exists, they believe that the Sabbat is nothing more than a rumor staged by their elders to scare rebellious Camarilla Childer off the wrong path.

Other horrible rumors about the sect spread fast among the Camarilla and the independents. Claims like the worship of demons, their ceaseless indulgence in diablerie, the ability to break blood bonds, and the addiction to hunting and killing other vampires.

The most consistent of all rumors about the sect is their obvious love of fire.
The Sabbat spreads like wild mushrooms, recruiting wherever they are, at the same time destroying any established institutions that crosses their paths.

Unlike the Camarilla, they believe in the existence of the Antediluvian and even Cain himself.

They greatly oppose the Antediluvian as they believe that the Antediluvian "pull the strings of the earth". They oppose this malignant control as they oppose any form of control or order.

Of all things, they greatly resist their Camarilla counterparts both politically and physically as they view them as "pawns of the ancients". Furthermore, they generally see the Camarilla as fearful cowards who are afraid to face their predatory nature.
