Shadows that whisper...

I am the shadow that preys by your side
The very thing that hides as you walk on by
and look back in fear into the silence of the night.
I am the whispers that you hear when there's no one near.

You look into darkness to see that there's no one there
but I am staring fiercely as you rattle in fear
and once you fall into a deep sleep at night
I am there at your bedside until daylight swallows dawn
feeling, touching, biting you from your smooth feet all the way up to your neck.

I will cherish the warm taste of your blood.
There is no turning back -
As I will have you for eternity,
You are my vengeance, my damnation.

This blood lust could go on forever.

I kill at will and if you are lucky,
I will share my blood
And you will share this life
Turning into one of the shadow whispers of the night.
