Unknown Dark Figure

There is firgure always standing at the brim of dusk
It rarely moves from its spot in the shadow of the tree
I watch it from my window, it is midnight now,
me eyes can't adjust well to the darkness
the figure seems to blend in with the background.

It is morning, the figure is gone
I wait at my window 'til dusk
Hearing whispers from winds, leaving my eyes on the spot
Listening for a while my eyes lay upon the figure
Always standing in the shadow of the tree

Midnight, I cant see the figure once again
Total darkness, I decided to make this a daily process
Wait for the figure to come at dusk and blend in midnight
For four days I did this, same time it came at dusk
Same time it disappeared at midnight into the shadows

Finally after the fourth day I needed a plan
I will show up at that exact spot where the figure shall
at dusk I may 'til midnight
it is at the brim of dusk and the figure isnt there
how is it that it is not there?

My window is open and I see a figure at the window
strange I thought, shouldn't there be no one in there?
It concerned me that I was being mocked,
either way, I shall not leave.
Midnight arrived, no figure appeared but only in my window

I faced forward toward the window and said
"why art thou not leaving thy room?"
It did not answer, it just swung its body left to right like it was humming a cheery tune.
My face grew red, "Why art thou not leaving thy room?"

Yet again no answer, it just swung its body left to right
I shall go up and see who this mocking child is
I shall seize thee by neck and strangle thee
Not a good plan but not a bad one either
Disturbed I may be but not crazy

Thy figure disappeared as I took one last step
my mind went blank, my vision is blurry
hot fluid runs down my neck, my life was taken,
my life has ended.
I shall live again, from my birth father who bit me

and who mocked me for the last time...
