Jason Freeman has just moved from Michigan to the prestigious DeVere Heights, Malibu. He's already made some friends, including film junkie Adam and the beautiful Sienna.
Too bad Sienna's going out with Jason's new buddy from the swim team. He tries to get his mind off of her at all the great parties he's invited to. But then, after one party, a dead girl washes up on the beach. A dead girl with some suspicious-looking puncture wounds on her arm... Then Adam comes to Jason with a secret. He's been filming the elites at their school, and he thinks they're all vampires.
This is a pretty good book. Duval puts an interesting twist on vampire literature by having his vamps live in Malibu. Naturally, these vampires are immune to sunlight. This isn't the top book on my vampire fiction list, but it's definitely worth a read.
