Vampire Bite

Life, it's been quite awhile since I knew it...
One vampire bite took it all away.
I'm dead, yet I never felt so alive.
I am forsaken, I am damned.

What is it like to live life again?
Will breathing feel like it always felt?
I do not know...
I think I will never know.

For once dead, they say, you'll never live.
But I am undead, or partly dead, or just undead.
I do not understand what I truly am.
But I'm stronger, more alive, more than death.

A bucket full of blood a day keeps death away.
One day I know, final death would come
but I don't see it coming anytime soon.
I will live this different kind of life.
