The Vampire Bloodline Guruhi believes that they are the Masters of Africa. The "rightful" ruler of its land. They are even reluctant in sharing their land with the Laibon though it's well known that they have some kind of alliance with the Shango and the Osebo.

They may embrace any African coming from an Ethnic tribe, but they mostly embrace those who are in positions of authority or those who can help them trace back their ancestry.

An old legend says that the Guruhi is of two vampire types or "lines", the second line supposedly took over Africa, taking the place of the first line as it was deemed "unfit" as ruler, but despite that, they most often than not stay "unified" as one clan.

They share a weakness of the Nosferatu but theirs is much more complex. Their appearance change when their mood changes, so how they look really depends on their mood swings which is reflected by their Aye and Orun.

A Guruhi who is in a good mood looks perfectly normal or at times may even possess "unearthly beauty", something that the Nosferatu won't enjoy. But someone with low Aye, is revealed much like a Nosferatu - Monster.
