The Vampire bloodline Kinyonyi took their name from a Luganda word meaning, "bird" which reflects their tendencies for constant travel. They travel more than any other vampires, even more than the knowledge-seeking Akunanse.

They usually work as messengers with the ability to find special items, carrying out projects for other Laibons legal or not.

Bloodline Kinyonyi was believed to have migrated from the east centuries ago...

Some says they are connected to the Rom, perhaps to Clan Ravnos, their ability to use chimerstry proves this.

They also have been around long enough to completely submerge themselves into the Laibon society unlike the Ishtarri which are relatively new comers.

Members of vampire bloodline Kinyonyi are independent and self-sufficient in terms of the embrace and are equipped with useful skills of any kind, maintaining a loose network within their legacy so if any one of them needs something they can't find themselves, they can always seek another Kinyonyi's help to find it for them.

To empower each of their members, they often meet to trade business tips, share stories, and compare notes.

They are welcome anywhere they may want to go but they couldn't stay for long as their lack of tact tends to drive them away from any one place, for instance an uncalled for comment may result them to be hunted down. This weakness keeps them on the constant move.

Few years ago, the legacy (Laibon) was hit by a blood-thirst from an unknown cause, which resulted to diableries and frenzies that nearly annihilated the Kinyonyi. A reason why some Kinyonyi these days are remain aloof from the legacy fearing such incident to ever happen again.
