The Vampire Bloodline Laibon were primarily of African origin and are viewed as a single bloodline by the European Vampires.

Almost all kindred originating from Africa considers themselves to be Laibon.

They were split into many several tribes with Kindred of the Ebony Kingdom. The old Laibon tribe was replaced by the Akunanse but they can be alternatively viewed as bloodlines of the legacy of the latter who came to Europe during the Dark Ages.

They follow the Abombwe, Animalism, and Fortitude disciplines and are considered independent from any sect. Their founder was Fakir Al Sidi.
