The Vampire Bloodline Noiad see themselves as the protectors of the Sami Tribe.

They are an ancient Gangrel vampire clan bloodline, probably one of the oldest and were the first Cainites to venture Europe.

They believe that they are servants of the many pagan gods worshiped by the Sami Tribe and that they are to protect the Sami against its enemies and to interpret the god's messages to the tribe.

In return, the Sami Tribe keeps them alive during the summer as they fall into torpor for a period of 3 months, where the sun never seemed to set.

During these period of endless sun, they are dependent on the Sami to wake them up and feed them.

They protect the Sami but destroys them at the same time...

They specifically hate change that would alter the life of the Sami as they fear being left behind and they'd do everything to stop any cultural or technological advancements that might change the way of life of the Sami Tribe.

Unlike other vampires, the Noiad aren't mystically bound to any land, but they refuse to leave their far northern lands as they believe that they are the guardians of such.

Disciplines are Animalism, Auspex, and Protean.

They can't sustain from animal blood alone and therefore must hunt a victim or perhaps must need a donor for sustenance.
