The Vampire Clan Tzimisce was one of the High Clans. It was common for them to own vast lands in eastern Europe during the Medieval times. They command human, ghouls, and monsters of their own creation.
In some places, they were worshipped like gods. The most famous of the Tzimisce was Vlad Tepes
Powerful as they are, they were the favorite victims of the Tremere,
whom arguably are their bloodline. The Tremere loves to use them as raw
materials for their Gragoyle experiments.

That's why the old Tzimisce always wanted to revenge against the Tremere.
During the Dark Ages, young members of Tzimisce were subjected to bloodbonds with their elders until they found a way to break it and killed most of their elders.
The vampire clan Tzimisce consider themselves superior than other vampires because of their unique disciplines, brutal ethical views, and the inner structure of the clan.
The clan is formed mostly of warriors or religious leaders within the Sabbat. Most lead their existence in solitude, avoiding contacts with the other vampires; though they are surrounded by the slaves and servants.
Every Tzimisce is obsessed with their birth place and graves. They usually carry along some soil from the place of their embrace and they are usually very territorial of such.
Whenever they sleep, they must surround themselves with at least two hand-fulls of soil from a place which was important to them during their mortal lives, usually from their birthplace. Failure to do so cuts their dice pools by half every 24 hours until they use only one die for all their actions. Such a penalty will remain until they rest in their territory for one full day.
The clan Tzimisce are popularly known for their body altering technique called Vicisstude or "Fleshcrafting". They can alter the bodies or both mortal and the undead to the point of melting it. For them, body crafting is an art and a philosophy.
It's common for them to fleshcraft themselves into what they think is beautiful or scary.
In the Modern Ages a majority of them believed and followed Social Darwinism, which refers to various ideologies based on a concept that competition among individuals, groups, nations and ideas drive social evolution drives the social evolution in human society. Not long, they became totally lost in this way of thinking.
The Tzimisce strives for physical and spiritual purification and perfection though their interpretations of such is very different from what most humans and other vampires would interpret it.
Overall, they one goal which is to become very powerful so that the whole world will become part of themselves - an inverted Nirvana.
The "Path of Metamorphosis" is the Tzimisce's most common "Path of Enlightenment" which they consider a replacement for their lost humanity.
