Do Vampires Exist?
This question has been asked and answered a million times and over through the years yet the confusion will go on and on through the many more years to come.
The quick answer to this question is yes, vampires do exist! Real life vampires, not the fanged vampires you see on movies.
Vampires don’t sparkle and they don’t turn into ashes either, when shone upon by the sun, they just get sun-burnt more easily than the average human beings.
Being a vampire is a condition, it isn’t really about magic or voodoo spells. There are lots of people who would contest the existence of real life vampires, they just don’t get it, and they never will.
You don’t have to wear capes, fangs or gothic clothing to be one. A vampire is born a vampire, that’s the way it is. No, you can’t become a vampire by being bitten by a vampire. The only thing that happens is you lose blood, get a bite scar, and at times, infection.
Most vampires don’t even know that they are one, some knew but would rather hide it to themselves in fear of discrimination – there are lots of racists around you know, and most just couldn’t spell reality from fiction.
Dressing as a vampire or Goth is a choice and therefore a fashion expression of oneself, meaning not all who dresses black are vampires. It’s hard determining the real ones from the wannabes, but then again, that’s the way things are. Remember how many people who wore Michael Jackson’s jacket on the eighties? It doesn’t mean they’re Michael Jacksons too.
Some people claiming the nonexistence of vampires tries to prove it by explaining the inability of humans’ digestive system to digest human blood in large amount. Real life vampires don’t really need huge amount of blood for nourishment and by nourishment, we don’t mean physical nourishment – it is really more of spiritual nourishment.
I know different people define vampiric hunger quite differently, what worries me is the many different ways of how people expresses their vampire natures.
You don’t need to go around preying victims and committing crimes to prove that you are a vampire and vampires aren’t summoned by the devil himself. Vampires worship God too it’s just that they’re a little different than the average people.
If you’re one who thinks that vampires are immortal, please get that thought out of your mind. Vampires are humans too, and just like everyone else, a stake through the heart kills them too. So if you think that you are a vampire, please don’t experiment with stakes – they’re effective!
There are also rumors spreading about the Prophyria virus which turns one into an undead, there’s no such a thing. Again, vampires don’t need large amounts of blood for nourishment.
Would you want to go around like a brainless deformed zombie? Vampires are Sexy and they reserve that power over humans!
And, oh yes, real life vampires don’t turn into bats, black cats, or dogs. Real life vampires are real humans too!
