What's with Hollywood?

I'd like to know who came up with the idea that we vampires sparkle in sunlight, only feed on people, and turn into bats? i mean really superpowers? who came up with that?

Many on this page looks to much on movies...

Vampires don't sparkle in sun, that's just a thing that they made up on Twilight and such.

You see, Twilight is a movie, We Vampires are not! We feed on humans, yes, but we only hunger for blood..

Some are stronger than others but we don't get "SUPER-speed"...
